Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning show At This Hour. She previously co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and in 2016. In Washington DC, she has covered both the US House as well as the Senate. Bolduan is part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress events including negotiations to raise the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. As a general assignment reporter she's covered events like the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare.
