Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenezon September 2, 1966)[3][4][5[3][4][5]) is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico, she began her acting career playing the character in the role of Teresa in the television show (1989-1991) as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she was nominated for an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were only some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of Frida Kahlo, a painter, in Frida (2002), a biographical film she produced that earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6]. Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce and acted in action-oriented film Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the following years.
