Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 [1 is an American actress. Her credits include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla who is the mother of Selena, in Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez's character on the ABC Family/Freeform drama Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently playing Camila Diaz on the drama series on Amazon Prime Video Undone (2019). Marie began her acting career when she was in her teens. In 1988, she landed a role in Salsa. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was picked for the role as Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie appeared alongside Jacqueline Obradors, Hector Elizondo and Elizabeth Pena in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup. Marie also appeared on the PBS drama American Family. Her clothing line was launched "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. She was also featured in an advertisement for PETA that year encouraging pet owners to spay and neuter their animals. 3 Marie was the main character in Switched at Birth on ABC Family/Freeform from 2011 until 2017. She played Regina Vasquez (the birth mother of one, and the legal mother of the other).
